Building Ordinance and Law is part of your homeowners and business insurance. What it does for you is very important: should you have a loss, this part of your insurance makes sure that you are brought up to code. If you have a house or business building that is not up to code, your BOL portion of your insurance will pay extra to bring it up to code. One great thing about Farmers Insurance is that you can extend this coverage.
But why should you? One major reason --- in Seattle and Tacoma, and much of Washington, homes and buildings are fairly old, and even newer buildings may experience a change in code. Should you experience a loss the building inspector will require you bring the building or house up to code. This extra expense can be covered for higher than 10% coverage inexpensively. Just ask us for a quote for your house or business.
